I’m back with #MondayMusings. I’m not talking about anybody in particular in this poem so don’t ask me to whom I might be referring (grammar on point). It ain’t nobody (grammar not on point). I really like this one though. Hope you do too.
To Be Known
In his eyes, I see myself clearly
I am reflected in his light
It is there that I shine most brightly
Me, the person I know I’ve not introduced
The person I so rarely reveal
Yet, he knows me still
And causes me to know myself all the more
I am seen and intimately known
For that, I am grateful
